The news flashes..."Coldest temperatures in a decade." Added by..."Record snow levels" Do you know what this means? Christmas break has now been extended. The kids have had late starts on Monday and Tuesday, No school today, and it's only obvious by the 8 inches if snow on my walkway, that we will have no school tomorrow. As my BFF put it tonight, "They kids won't go back to school until 2009." She said this not to scare me, but as a "I feel your pain sista."
So to combat a bit of cabin fever this afternoon, we did a little bit of Snow-skating. It's a snow board the size of a skateboard. Braydon and Ellie had a blast!! Me too!

omg, you are too funny!
Yep-We feel like we were going yo break the 100 + inches record of last year in this month alone. The kids will probably have their 3rd snow day Friday ....
OOO that looks like fun! Shame I don't like the cold... won't catch me out in snow too often! Brrrrrr.
you will laugh one day too, heh.

Oh that looks like so much fun! I miss snow....
Oh, I am so envious! The kids would LOVE some snow. It sure looked like you had fun. I feel your pain---last year I wanted to "show my stuff" and jumped on the kids skooter. Of course the wheel hit the crack in the cement and I slammed into the sidewalk. I limped away with a broken toe. This year I'll stick with something safer!
