See these 2 people here in the photo above? Suckers I tell yah. Yesterday was a good Easter Sunday for every one here in the "Why do these kids keep calling me mom?" household.
With the recent loss of our beloved Vinny, we chose to take a look at a new puppy, but what happened? Well, I fell in love with this guy...
Meet Mister. He is a 41/2 year old Papillon. He was rescued from a breeder going out of business. He is so sweet and easy going. I could not leave there with out him. The breeder was not real crazy about us giving him a home since he had no been around too many kids. But, we changed her mind on that. By the end of the visit Mister was licking the kids and following them around. He was more then happy to go home with us, even sleeping on my lap the entire way.
My heart is a little fuller now with Mister in our lives. Oh, but wait. Remember we said we went to look at puppies?
Meet Murphy. He is a 10 week old Papillon. SUCKERS I tell you. The kids are so jacked. Me the other hand...I'm a bit busy now.

Oh how cu-u-t-e!!! I bet you are busy with two new dogs, especially a puppy! The 2 "suckers" look pretty happy!
Oh Yeah, a couple of suckers you are! That's OK though, you now have two absolutely, adorable dogs in your family! I love the names, how did you settle on Mister and Murphy?
I bet Murphy is just running Mister crazy--just like a baby!
OK, now I get it! Congratulations on the new additions! :)
Yep, these two dogs saw you coming... and in dog language barked 'Suckers... we have them in the palm of our paws'... lol... so cute...
*laughing*..... you are suckers... but nice ones! Love the new family additions.
Hilarious. They are adorable. Congratulations!
Oh Yes! You are SUCKERS with a capital S.

I have a big grin on my face. That's just what I'd have done. I could never have left the older dog and would have taken the puppy for good measure.

Suckers! But puppies are the best medicine!
Total suckers! They are so cute!!!! Congrats!
Holy crap - those dogs are CUTE!! There's something almost comical about Murphy's expression in that picture.
I'm so sorry about the loss of your beloved pup. Hopefully these cuties can warm up that void in your hearts.
Good luck with house training - maybe the older (ahem, wiser) dog can show the puppy the ropes.
Quite adorable - the 2 suckers that is!!! Pups are cute too!
I think I have sucker tattooed on my forehead! SO suckers we may be, but good homes we can give to animals that otherwise might not have homes. It's so hard losing a pet, but it's good that you still have room in your hearts for more!
CUTE!!!
So very cute!! You guys are good suckers! Congratulations!
Hee hee. Too cute! Congratulations and enjoy your newest family members.
So sorry about Vinny.
ROTFLOL! I have some puddle pads I could send your way! Now that Juno's been here 5 weeks I couldn't imagine 2 dogs at once! :0
The dry climate over there is better for all kinds of dog fallout though, I must say!
Congrats!

Hi there. I'm a first time commentor on your blog....started 'tuning in' recently but, can't for the life of me recall how I found you. Anyhoo...your children are just lovely. We live down South of you in Portland. I totally get your "I love, love, love...long vacations to places warm with no rain" statement. So sorry about your loss of Vinny. Congrats on your new family members though. Very cute. We have two small dogs as well (Poms)....and 3 cats....and 1 crazy beautiful, firecracker of a daughter, born in China over 3 years ago. Drop by for a visit.
Take care.
