Long story, but when my ex and I called it a day I lived in our new travel trailer for a bit in the mountains. I did not know these propane basics either! I must say frozen lines and frozen water is such a joy.<BR/><BR/>Anywho--just buy the same insulator that you wrap pipes--your water will not freeze that way. Add a blanket over the water tank (it is typically under the couch), and seriously you will save mega cash by using the electic heater--with a fan (get one for about 20 bucks) and run it more money to run the furnace on propane (a lot more). Use the propane just to heat your water and to cook. A small heater with a blower/fan is cheap to run and keeps the space very toasty. <BR/><BR/>It is very do-able. It is just adjustment.
