it's been a while since I've commented, but I thought I'd drop a note to say that it looks like/seems like living on the East side of the state is agreeing with you all. You guys all look great. I was just over on the East side of your state a few weeks ago, it was so nice to be in a slower paced environment where people actually greeted you as you walked by and I never tire of the mountains and the trees. I was surprised to see snow still on them though.

LOVE this picture! The puppies really are just adorable, too. And yes, I think you are right about depression issues related to lack of sun in Western Washington. I'm convinced that I ended up with Seasonal Affective Disorder this past winter. I'm just now feeling back to normal now that we are getting more sunshine again. I'm going to have to figure out how to deal with the long gray winter better next year!
So glad you are enjoying your new normal on the other side of the mountains!

Is Braydon going to the Goldendale area by any chance? That was where my 5th grade E. Wa. campout was, and it was life changing! :)

Now, if you could just send some of that warm evening air, filled with sage and Russian olive aromas and the sounds of crickets my way I would be so appreciative! Good luck with the squirrels and watch out for the potato bugs later this summer!
